Hello fabulous fifth graders! My name is Mrs. Ford. I am pleased to be your fifth grade teacher. This is my 12th year teaching and my 3rd year at Hannan Magnet Academy. We are departmentalized; therefore, I will be teaching Math and Science to both classes.

I am the military spouse of Donavan Ford. We have been married for 12 years now. We have two amazing children: Gabriella Ford (8) and Gabriel Ford (4). We're expecting our 3rd child in November. When I am not teaching or planning awesome lessons.........I enjoy shopping, traveling, playing and watching sports (War Eagles), and spending time with family and friends.

I graduated from Columbus State University in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Education and 2008 with a Master's degree in Education. I continued my education online at Walden University while teacher. In 2011, I obtained my Specialist degree in Education. While working toward each degree I completed several add-on's: Mathematics, Reading, Teacher Support and Gifted Endorsements. I am currently attending Columbus State University working toward a degree in Educational Leadership.
